Austin Turning Point,

I can honestly say that I am truly grateful to have been sent here after treatment almost 9 months ago. Upon my intake at Austin Turning Point I felt like I was already at home, from Jane the Director of Operations coming to pick me up hours after I arrived to help assist me with finding where to get a bus pass and get groceries to Derick the house manager telling me the closest places to get a job, the staff was nothing but helpful from day one. Then after a while staff was no longer staff to me and other guests in the house were no longer “clients” they all became my family. After almost 9 months of having the same house manager and the same roommate (which is unheard of in sober living environments) I can leave the house knowing that not only do I leave a piece of me there but I will always have a second family to lean on if I ever feel lost in the program. The location was just a kicker being only minutes from a bus stop and tons of jobs not to mention being on the north end of the UT campus.  Austin Turning Point will forever have a place in my heart.

A solid home that I would recommend to any one right out of treatment.

I highly recommend ATP. It was great place for my son to start his road to recovery after leaving the treatment center.
From the minute we dropped him off from the treatment center they assisted in making the transition a smooth one. They were very helpful in providing him with a structured environment and a positive place for him to grow in his recovery. They assisted in giving him all the tools and support to continue to live a sober productive life.
From the staff to all the outside help that was provided, I am very pleased and can’t thank them enough for helping him get his life back on track.
Thanks for all your help and making this all much easier on us knowing he was at a place that right for him to regain his life back again.

Thanks for all the help you have been in Parker’s sobriety and recovery.  Your work down there doesn’t go unnoticed.  I am grateful for the time time my son has been there.  Thanks again!

Abe and his foundation Austin Turning Point is the most respectable sober living group I have ever had the pleasure of living with and I would recommend his houses to anyone who is willing to go to any lengths to save their own life.  Abe understands the meaning of trust, fellowship, leadership and respect and these are the same things that were instilled in me as I began to grow up in his house.

Abe brought to me a secure, clean place for me to develop and mature into a man. He taught me how to be respectful of myself and others as well as independent so I am able to live on my own now.  With his guidance I am building strong relationships with family and friends again that I never thought was possible.  His houses allowed me a secure foundation to call home and earn that job I wanted.  Through the fellowship in the house I was able to learn about myself and know that now, anything is possible.

I just wanted to take some time to share with you how much we appreciate you and your staff’s support for our son, Travis, in his transition on the path of recovery.  Your facility offered an environment that provided a network of support that Travis felt comfortable functioning within, and made his transition successful with no relapse to date….just one day at a time.

Your house manager, Mark, especially made Travis feel connected and supported in his sobriety and accountability.  Mark seemed to be always available and open to honest discussion with Travis and others in the house on every issue.  My wife and I cannot thank you enough for providing our son with the necessary support to make transition from La Hacienda intensive care to a more real world scenario, with necessary structure and support.
